Chronic pain
Pain has its purpose in signaling to the body that tissues are inflamed and in need of repair. Sometimes, after the initial cause of pain has resolved, the pain remains. Physical therapy and medications are important aspects of managing chronic pain. Pain has a spiritual component that is often dismissed in traditional treatment plans. The reality is that western medicine is ableist. This leaves those experiencing chronic pain feeling frustrated. Reiki can ease your chronic pain. It will also leave you empowered you shape the world around the needs of your body.
Grief
Grief is the complicated emotional response that occurs when outcomes are inconsistent with desires. You may be working through a life changing medical diagnosis. Your loved one or pet may have passed away. A relationship you thought would last forever may have ended prematurely. No matter the situation, grief is important to witness. Reiki will hold you gently as you overcome this beautiful burden.
Creativity
One of the most helpful things a therapist did for me was encourage me to use my hands to create, rather than destroy. I play keyboard, write, and produce my own songs. I know you are capable of beautiful work, whether it’s drawing, painting, music, woodworking or something else. What is stopping you from sharing your beautiful craft with the world? Reiki will give you the boost to cast your doubt aside and get creating.
Gender exploration
This offering is for ALL people tired of living in a box. I affectionately call it the Mama Makeover. This is your space to play with expression like clothing, drag, make-up, nail polish. Here you can claim your authentic identity. I use your name and pronouns, period. You are a beautiful, handsome, cis gender person. You are trans enough, whether or not you choose to take hormones, have surgeries, or legally change your name and gender marker. I am here to look into the mirror over your shoulder as you let your true self shine. Reiki will root you in confidence to dress up, step up, and stand out.
Sexual Wellness
This is an invitation to prioritize your pleasure. It goes much deeper than having children to make your parents happy. Sexual wellbeing is connected directly to creativity, joy, and play. You may be curious about relationships with the same gender or gender non conforming folks. I bet you are ready to explore relationship structures outside of monogamy. Perhaps your shadow self is begging for a fetish, kink, or BDSM. Reiki will help you unlearn the shame and sex negativity society assigns to us. **There will be no sexual interactions between me and my clients**
